ANTELOPE

If you're looking for a weekend getaway from the office, a hunt that you can share with a family member, something relatively easy with high success, you might consider our rifle antelope hunt.

You see an abundance of game throughout the plains, which keeps new hunters enthusiastic. The terrain is mostly flat and easy to cover for the young or restricted hunter.

To top it off southwestern New Mexico is home to some record book antelope and success is generally very high.

ORYX

These magnificent animals were introduced into the wild here in New Mexico about 20 years ago. This is an extremely enjoyable and exciting hunt, with oryx running from the grease wood flats and sand hill desert to the pinon and juniper country.

Oryx hunting is similar to antelope hunting and involves a lot of glassing with long stalks through relatively flat and easy country.

It is a good hunt for the family and can be taken most any time of the year through depredation landowner permits.
